Family Law Specialist
Henry has been a Certified Legal Specialist in Family Law since 2013.
In order to become a Certified Family Law Specialist an attorney must apply for such certification after demonstrating proficiency in the area of family law by completing the requisite experience and education in the field of family law. The attorney must have also taken and passed a written examination in the field of family law. This examination is similar to a one day bar examination but covers only family law related topics.
After becoming certified, Certified Family Law Specialists must continue to demonstrate a high level of experience and skill in the field of family law, fulfill the ongoing legal education requirements and be favorably evaluated by other attorneys/judges who are familiar with their work.

I focus exclusively on resolving family law problems. Over the course of my career, I have handled virtually every type of family law case — ranging from uncontested divorces to custody disputes and property division involving substantial marital estates. I have particular experience in cases involving complex property issues, such as division of a business, division of real estate, deferred compensation, and other complicated property division matters. While I operate at a sophisticated level regarding the law, we always seek a common-sense solution that is workable yet protects my client’s interests.
